Dr. Joy Altermatt , ERI Clinician

  Colorado State University DVM graduate with Master’s and clinical training in geriatric reproductive medicine at CSU’s Equine Reproduction Laboratory and obtained board certification in the American College of Theriogenologists (study of reproduction). Areas of expertise include: OT, ET, follicular dynamics, geriatric mare reproductive management, Color Doppler ultrasonography
Dr. Fernando Campos-Chillon


Dr. Fernando Campos-Chillon, ERI Clinical Manager

  Colorado State University DVM graduate who received Master’s degree at CalPoly University, Pomona and PhD training at CSU’s Animal and Biotechnology Research Laboratory and clinical training at CSU’s Equine Reproduction Laboratory. Obtained board certification in the American College of Theriogenologists and has over 15 years experience with embryos and reproductive technology. Areas of expertise include: oocyte maturation, ET, ICSI management, cryopreservation of embryos, IVF and gene expression


Cindy Reich


Cindy Reich, ERI Barn and Facility Manager

  A second generation horsewoman who has consulted and worked for major breeding farms in the U.S. and Europe for over 25 years. She is highly respected international Arabian Horse judge who routinely judges shows around the world. Cindy has a B.S. in Bio-Agricultural Science from Colorado State University and completed her Master’s Thesis in Animal Reproduction at University College Dublin, Ireland

Dr. TK Suh


Dr. TK Suh, ERI President

  Developed and refined ICSI in the horse during his time as assistant professor at Colorado State University, has trained most of the country’s best ICSI technicians and is an expert embryologist in many species including humans, with over 20 years of experience with oocytes, embryos and sperm physiology.
